About me

Hello! I am a fifth-year Ph.D. student in the College of Information Sciences and Technology (IST) at Pennsylvania State University. I'm currently working with my advisor Dr. Xinning Gui.

My research lies at the intersection of Health Informatics, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), and Data Science. Recently, I have been studying consumer-facing healthcare technologies, such as AI-enabled symptom checkers and conversational agents (chatbots). My work encompasses all the phases of human-centered design, including collecting empirical understandings of consumers, developing prototypes, and understanding how people experience them.

What I do when I'm not working

I was a volunteer for many organizations, such as GAIN (Global Aid Network), Hope Bridge group, Chunmiao Orphan Family group, etc... I was also a volunteer at the Former Residence of Cai Yuanpei and Shanghai Science & Technology Museum.

I have many hobbies, like hiking, traveling, badminton, archery, painting, and cooking. I also love playing with cats very much!
